They looking for a Business Development Manager to grow the company revenue, profitability and trading base through achieving a forwarding sales target on an area specific basis. This global leader in the industry is looking for a natural hunter who will be very successful in bring in new business and maintain on-going relationships with key customers and sales partners. The successful individual would need to work close with the operations team and be able to grow and retain client base. The development of customers is of high importance to build long term relationships and ensure new customers are trading to their full potential in all areas. This company is also a very diverse company and allows you to expand with them too, if you hard working and strong willed, think out the box and skilled in marketing then this is the company for you.
3 years’ prior experience with sales in the industry is preferred Minimum 5 years’ experience in a logistics or clearing and forwarding environment Minimum 3-year experience in managerial position Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding targets Experience in dealing with all modes of transport Excellent Communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills Strong Networker Team player but also self-sufficient Good understanding of Import/Export procedures and Incoterms Good client relationship management, communication and presentation skills Exceptionally great in negotiating Able to communicate with all levels Also be a divergent thinker Knowledgeable about the freight industry and their competitors Let us assist you with your career.
