Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree level of computer science. ▪ Practical experience in the Contract Logistics & Warehousing business ▪ Minimum 5-year of experience in Warehouse Management/Labor Management Systems. ▪ Minimum 2-year SAP ECC 6.0 Experience IM, MM, SD and WM modules. ▪ Experience supporting technology solutions for end users. ▪ Basic understanding of Warehouse Strategies, Design, Systems and Processes. ▪ Strong technical aptitude and significant experience with relational databases. ▪ Good verbal and written skills to communicate with associates and all levels of management. ▪ Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in team setting. ▪ Must exhibit a strong desire to learn and grow. ▪ Ability to work long hours and weekends as dictated by business needs. ▪ Must possess strong interpersonal skills. ▪ Must be a self-starter and be able to successfully execute initiatives with minimal guidance and accomplish the stated goals. ▪ Preference will be given to candidates who have previous exposure to automotive JIT/JIS sequencing, and familiar with variety of barcode hardware vendors, barcode scanners and barcode printing technologies. Quite critical.


Job Description 2 ▪ Carries out certain technical requirements in terms of configuration of systems and applications acc. to business requirements. ▪ Configures software parameters, activities, system maintenance and system documentation. ▪ Carries out configuration of applications acc. to business requests (project work). ▪ Support and maintenance of local IT Logistics services (i.e. applications and relevant hardware) ▪ Responsible for 1st level support, and coordinates 2rd level support when needed. ▪ Proactive user support in the Workplace environment ▪ Coordination of the resolution of application, hardware and software problems. Creation of temporary solutions until permanent solutions can be implemented. ▪ Awareness of service level agreement targets ▪ Remain aware of and evaluate new technologies relevant to Logistics business, and if appropriate develop impetus for their adoption. ▪ Support pre-sales efforts with customers, by attending customer meetings and providing technical input, while addressing customer specific concerns. ▪ Act as an escalation path for issues reported by users, and follow up until resolved, by ensuring issues are routed to correct resolution team, either IT Dept Helpdesk, IT Business Solutions (Customer Integration EDI’s), or with vendor support teams.
