Fuel price reprieve for December

Transport logistics service providers – hit with escalating costs due, amongst others, high fuel costs – have been given a reprieve with a drop of R1.84 per litre in the petrol price and R1.45 in diesel prices
As of Wednesday, 6 December, a litre of 95 ULP will cost R15.24 in Gauteng – down from the current R17.08.
The Department of Energy said in a statement today that the average international product prices for petrol, diesel and illuminating paraffin had decreased which had motivated the fuel price decrease.
